Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to verify functionality and performance.
- Identify, document, and track software bugs and issues using JIRA or similar bug tracking tools.
- Collaborate closely with software developers and product managers to understand requirements and resolve defects efficiently.
- Perform manual and automated testing using Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks to ensure cross-browser compatibility.
- Execute regression testing to ensure recent code changes do not negatively impact existing features.
- Analyze system logs and metrics to diagnose root causes of failures and suggest preventative measures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of professional experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Strong proficiency in manual testing methodologies and bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
- Familiarity with automated testing tools such as Selenium WebDriver or Cypress.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and RESTful APIs for database and API testing.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in an Agile/Scrum environment.
