Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases for complex industrial equipment and software interfaces.
- Utilize provided equipment and testing frameworks to identify defects, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and the R&D team to ensure high-quality product delivery.
- Document detailed bug reports and track issues through to resolution using JIRA.
- Perform regression testing to ensure recent code changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
- Conduct load and stress testing to validate system stability under peak usage conditions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 3+ years of experience in QA testing, preferably within the manufacturing, IoT, or industrial technology sectors.
- Proficiency in manual testing methodologies and modern automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright).
- Strong knowledge of SQL and API testing (Postman, REST Assured).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and user experience.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and communicate findings clearly.
