Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and investigate potential threats using SIEM tools
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on networks
- Develop incident response plans and lead breach mitigation efforts
- Analyze malware and reverse-engineer sophisticated cyber attacks
- Implement security controls and maintain compliance frameworks
- Collaborate with IT teams to enhance security architectures
- Document security incidents and prepare executive reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on security operations experience
- Certifications (CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+)
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR tools
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and cloud security
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (MISP, Recorded Future)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure during security incidents
