Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.
- Perform manual and automated testing to identify bugs, defects, and usability issues.
- Collaborate with software developers and product managers to understand requirements and resolve technical issues.
- Document and track defects using JIRA or similar bug tracking tools, ensuring proper prioritization.
- Develop and maintain automated regression test suites to increase testing efficiency.
- Analyze test results and provide actionable feedback to improve software quality.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, testing methodologies, and new technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
- Proficiency in writing automated tests using Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.
- Strong understanding of SQL and database querying.
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a strong passion for delivering high-quality software products.
