Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new and existing software applications.
- Identify, document, and track software bugs using defect tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
- Perform both manual and automated testing to verify functionality, usability, and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on potential issues.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure that recent code changes have not negatively impacted existing features.
- Analyze root causes of software defects and verify fixes once deployed to production.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in software quality assurance testing.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
- Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, Postman, or TestRail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- B.S. degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
