Responsibilities
- Design and Execute Test Plans: Create comprehensive test strategies and test cases to verify the functionality, performance, and security of our web and mobile applications.
- Bug Tracking and Reporting: Log, track, and verify defects using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla, providing clear and concise feedback to the development team.
- Automated Testing: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium or Cypress to increase testing efficiency and coverage.
- Regression Testing: Perform thorough regression testing on new builds and updates to ensure existing functionality remains intact.
- API Testing: Test RESTful APIs and microservices using Postman to validate data integrity and response times.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with Agile teams to understand requirements and provide input on potential risks.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance (SQA) or Manual Testing.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for database verification and experience with automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, or Appium) is highly preferred.
- Testing Tools: Strong understanding of testing methodologies, SDLC, and QA best practices.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
- Flexibility: Ability to work independently in a remote-friendly environment while meeting deadlines.
