The Role:
As a QA Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring our software products are bug-free, user-friendly, and ready for market release. You will collaborate closely with developers and product managers to define quality standards and execute testing strategies.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using JIRA and bug tracking systems.
- Perform both manual and automated testing (Selenium, Cypress, or similar) across web and mobile applications.
- Execute regression testing to ensure recent code changes have not negatively impacted existing functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product owners) to troubleshoot complex issues and drive timely resolutions.
- Monitor application performance and provide actionable feedback for optimization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, life cycles, and quality standards.
- Familiarity with SQL for database querying and verification.
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman) is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
