Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated test plans to verify software functionality and user experience.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and bugs using JIRA, providing detailed reproduction steps.
- Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to troubleshoot issues and define technical requirements.
- Perform regression testing to ensure that recent code changes have not negatively impacted existing features.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test scripts and test data.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in software quality assurance testing.
- Strong proficiency in manual testing methodologies and defect tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla).
- Experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with SQL and basic database querying.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate technical issues clearly.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
