Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated test cases to identify software defects and inconsistencies
- Document test results, bugs, and detailed execution reports in JIRA and other tracking systems
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to prioritize and resolve issues
- Perform regression testing on existing features to ensure stability after updates
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and test scripts
- Participate in agile ceremonies to align on quality objectives and timelines
- Analyze test data to provide actionable insights for product improvement
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in software QA testing or related field
- Proficiency with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management systems
- Familiarity with manual testing techniques and regression testing methodologies
- Basic knowledge of automation tools (Selenium, Cypress) or willingness to learn
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
