Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using JIRA or similar bug-tracking tools.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to reproduce issues and verify fixes.
- Perform functional, regression, and edge-case testing to ensure product stability.
- Execute manual and automated testing scripts to validate software functionality.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide detailed feedback on user experience.
- Monitor application performance and suggest improvements for user retention.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a QA Tester or Software Test Engineer (2+ years).
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, test cases, and the bug life cycle.
- Experience with SQL and at least one automation tool (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright).
- Proficiency in using bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Trello.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a flexible, remote-friendly environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
