Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated test scripts for web/mobile applications
- Document defects with detailed steps, screenshots, and severity levels
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce and validate bug fixes
- Create comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and usability scenarios
- Participate in agile sprint planning and retrospectives
- Maintain test environments and test case documentation
- Identify edge cases and suggest process improvements
Qualifications
- 1+ years of QA/testing experience (internships accepted)
- Proficiency in bug-tracking tools (Jira, Bugzilla)
- Familiarity with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written communication for technical documentation
- Must reside in Madison, WI area for occasional on-site sessions
- Flexible availability between 9 AM - 9 PM weekdays + weekends
- Basic knowledge of SQL or API testing a plus
