Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated test cases to identify software defects and ensure functionality
- Document detailed bug reports using JIRA with clear reproduction steps and severity ratings
- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot issues and implement fixes
- Participate in agile ceremonies (sprints, retrospectives) to improve testing processes
- Conduct regression testing on new features and product updates
- Maintain and update test documentation, including test plans and case libraries
- Analyze test results to provide actionable insights for product improvements
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in software QA testing with manual and automated tools
- Proficiency in bug tracking systems (JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management tools
- Familiarity with QA methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and precision
- Experience writing and executing test cases, scenarios, and scripts
- Knowledge of SQL for database testing and validation
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
