Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and execute manual and automated test cases to identify software defects
- Document detailed bug reports with clear steps to reproduce and expected outcomes
- Perform regression testing to verify fixes and prevent regression issues
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to prioritize and resolve issues
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test documentation and test plans
- Stay updated with industry testing tools and methodologies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in Computer Science preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in software QA testing
- Proficiency with defect tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management systems
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Experience with both manual and automated testing frameworks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexible schedule availability (evenings/weekends as needed)
