Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using JIRA and other ticketing systems.
- Automate regression and functional tests using Selenium or Cypress to increase efficiency.
- Perform manual and automated testing across various browsers and devices.
- Analyze root causes of defects and provide actionable feedback to the development team.
- Conduct peer reviews and participate in daily stand-ups.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in QA Testing, preferably in a SaaS or fintech environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and scripting languages (Python or Java preferred).
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, or Cypress.
- Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
