What You'll Do:
As a QA Tester, you will be the gatekeeper of our software quality. You will work closely with developers and product managers to identify bugs, improve processes, and ensure a seamless user experience.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.
- Perform both manual and automated testing to identify defects, bugs, and errors in the software.
- Analyze requirements and functional specifications to determine test scenarios and edge cases.
- Document and track all bugs in defect-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) and communicate clearly with developers for resolution.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure that fixes do not introduce new issues or break existing functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Managers, Developers) to ensure alignment on project goals and quality standards.
- Provide feedback on software usability and suggest improvements to the user interface (UI).
Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance (QA) testing.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and testing best practices.
- Experience with manual testing and familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium) is a plus.
- Familiarity with SQL and API testing tools (Postman) is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
