Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive manual and automated test plans to ensure software quality across all stages of development.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using JIRA, providing clear reproduction steps to the development team.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Developers to understand requirements and define acceptance criteria.
- Perform regression testing on new releases to prevent functionality regressions.
- Conduct performance and load testing to ensure application stability under high traffic.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance (SQA) testing.
- Proficiency in automated testing frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, or Appium.
- Strong knowledge of SQL for database verification.
- Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
