Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated test cases to identify functional defects, usability issues, and performance bottlenecks
- Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test data covering complex user workflows
- Document defects with precise steps to reproduce, expected vs. actual results, and severity levels
- Perform regression testing on software updates and new feature releases
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and validate fixes
- Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve product quality
- Maintain and update test automation scripts using Selenium/Cypress
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in manual and automated software testing
- Proficiency in test management tools (Jira, TestRail) and defect tracking systems
- Strong understanding of SDLC/STLC methodologies and testing frameworks
- Experience with cross-browser and cross-platform testing (iOS/Android)
- Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, Rest-Assured)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Certified Tester (CTFL) certification a plus
- Excellent written communication skills for documenting complex technical issues
