Responsibilities
- Design and Execution: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.
- Bug Tracking: Identify, document, and track software defects using JIRA, ensuring clear communication with developers.
- Automation: Develop and maintain automated test suites using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright to improve testing efficiency.
- API Testing: Perform rigorous API testing using Postman to ensure data integrity and system performance.
- Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing on new features and updates to prevent software regressions.
- Cross-Browser Testing: Verify application compatibility across various browsers and devices to ensure a consistent user experience.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, including manual and automated testing.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Java, or JavaScript) and frameworks like Selenium or Cypress.
- SQL Knowledge: Strong understanding of SQL for data verification and database testing.
- Tools: Experience with JIRA, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical teams.
