Responsibilities
- Prompt Strategy Development: Design, implement, and optimize high-quality prompts for Large Language Models (LLMs) to maximize output accuracy and relevance.
- Model Fine-Tuning: Collaborate with data scientists to fine-tune pre-trained models based on specific user requirements and domain expertise.
- A/B Testing: Conduct rigorous A/B testing of different prompt variations to determine the most effective approaches for diverse use cases.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation of prompt engineering best practices and methodologies for the wider engineering team.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, and Software Engineers to integrate AI capabilities into user-facing products seamlessly.
- Feedback Analysis: Analyze user feedback and model outputs to continuously iterate and improve prompt strategies.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in AI, Machine Learning, or a related technical field, with a specific focus on Natural Language Processing (NLP).
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of LLM architecture (e.g., GPT-4, Claude, Llama) and prompt engineering frameworks.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail and tone.
- Problem Solving: Ability to deconstruct complex problems and formulate precise, logical prompts to guide AI behavior.
- Tools: Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data analysis tools (e.g., Pandas, Jupyter Notebooks).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, English, or a related field.
