Responsibilities
- Design, test, and optimize prompts for LLMs including GPT-4, Claude, and proprietary models
- Develop prompt engineering frameworks for enterprise AI applications
- Collaborate with product teams to translate user requirements into AI interaction flows
- Document prompt libraries and engineering best practices
- Conduct A/B testing on prompt variations to maximize output quality
- Research emerging prompt engineering techniques and tools
- Maintain prompt versioning and performance tracking systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years experience with prompt engineering or NLP model interaction
- Portfolio demonstrating prompt engineering projects or AI interaction design
- Expertise in at least one major LLM (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to linguistic nuance
- Experience with Python for prompt automation and testing
- Ability to work independently with flexible scheduling requirements
- Excellent written communication and problem-solving abilities
