Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and refine complex prompt templates for various AI models including GPT-4, Claude, and open-source alternatives.
- Analyze model outputs to identify biases, inaccuracies, or hallucinations and iteratively improve prompt strategies.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and data scientists to translate business requirements into effective prompt engineering workflows.
- Conduct A/B testing on different prompt variations to maximize user engagement and content quality.
- Create detailed documentation and guidelines on prompt engineering best practices for the wider engineering team.
- Stay ahead of the curve on the latest advancements in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and generative AI technologies.
Qualifications
- Strong writing and editing background with a keen eye for detail, nuance, and tone.
- Demonstrated experience or deep understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) and prompt engineering concepts.
- Experience with Python or basic scripting is a significant plus.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage a flexible schedule effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, English, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Passion for AI ethics and the ability to think critically about AI-generated content.
