Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize prompts for large language models to enhance AI response quality and accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into effective prompt engineering strategies
- Conduct A/B testing on prompt variations to identify optimal interaction patterns
- Document prompt engineering methodologies and maintain knowledge repositories
- Analyze AI output patterns to identify improvement opportunities in prompt design
- Stay current with emerging prompt engineering techniques and industry best practices
- Train stakeholders on prompt engineering principles and implementation guidelines
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Linguistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in prompt engineering, NLP, or AI model development
- Expertise in designing prompts for GPT, Claude, or similar large language models
- Proficiency with Python and prompt engineering frameworks like LangChain or Hugging Face
- Strong analytical skills for evaluating AI output quality and prompt effectiveness
- Excellent written communication with meticulous attention to linguistic nuance
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) for AI model deployment
