Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and refine complex prompts to maximize the accuracy, safety, and relevance of AI outputs.
- Conduct rigorous A/B testing and analysis of model responses to iteratively improve system performance.
- Train and fine-tune base models to adapt them to specific domain knowledge and business logic.
- Collaborate closely with software engineers to integrate prompt engineering best practices into production pipelines.
- Document prompt libraries, usage patterns, and optimization strategies for team knowledge sharing.
- Monitor model behavior for bias and toxicity, implementing guardrails to ensure ethical AI deployment.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in prompt engineering, data science, or a related technical field.
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face).
- Strong understanding of LLM architecture, fine-tuning, and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a knack for technical writing.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into effective AI workflows.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
