Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize prompts for large language models to achieve specific business outcomes
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate requirements into AI interaction patterns
- Test and refine prompts using A/B methodologies to improve model accuracy and user experience
- Document prompt engineering frameworks and best practices for team scalability
- Monitor emerging AI capabilities and integrate new techniques into prompt strategies
- Develop evaluation metrics to measure prompt effectiveness across different use cases
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, Cognitive Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in prompt engineering, NLP, or AI model interaction design
- Portfolio demonstrating successful prompt optimization projects with measurable results
- Expertise in Python and experience with AI frameworks (OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to deconstruct complex problems into prompt components
- Creative mindset with proven ability to generate innovative solutions for AI constraints
