Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and refine AI prompts for various language models to achieve specific business objectives
- Conduct A/B testing and iterative optimization of prompt performance across different AI platforms
- Collaborate with data scientists and product teams to align prompt strategies with technical requirements
- Document prompt engineering methodologies, best practices, and performance metrics
- Analyze model outputs to identify improvement opportunities and implement prompt adjustments
- Stay current with emerging AI trends and prompt engineering frameworks
- Train stakeholders on effective prompt usage and AI interaction principles
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, Cognitive Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in prompt engineering, NLP, or AI model interaction
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with AI frameworks (OpenAI, Hugging Face, etc.)
- Exceptional written communication skills with meticulous attention to linguistic nuance
- Strong analytical abilities to interpret complex AI outputs and optimize prompts
- Experience with prompt libraries and version control systems
- Portfolio demonstrating prompt engineering projects and their impact
- Understanding of AI ethics and responsible AI deployment practices
