Responsibilities
- Design, test, and iterate advanced prompts for large language models (LLMs) including GPT-4, Claude, and proprietary systems

- Conduct A/B testing to optimize prompt performance, response quality, and token efficiency
- Create documentation and best practices for prompt design across internal teams
- Collaborate with ML engineers to fine-tune model parameters based on prompt performance data
- Monitor emerging AI tools and techniques to maintain competitive advantage in prompt engineering
- Develop evaluation metrics to assess prompt effectiveness and model alignment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, Cognitive Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in prompt engineering, NLP, or AI model development
- Expertise in crafting prompts for GPT-4, Claude, or similar transformer-based models
- Strong understanding of LLM limitations, biases, and mitigation strategies
- Proficiency in Python and experience with AI frameworks (Hugging Face, LangChain, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating successful prompt engineering projects with measurable outcomes
