Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated test cases to identify functional defects and usability issues
- Document detailed bug reports using JIRA with clear steps to reproduce and severity levels
- Perform regression testing on web and mobile applications across multiple browsers/devices
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to prioritize and resolve defects
- Conduct ad-hoc testing and exploratory sessions to uncover edge cases
- Verify fixes in staging environments before deployment
- Participate in agile ceremonies (sprints, retrospectives) to improve testing processes
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in software QA testing (manual or automated)
- Proficiency in bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management systems
- Familiarity with testing methodologies (black-box, gray-box, regression)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and precision
- Experience testing responsive web applications and iOS/Android platforms
- Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
