Responsibilities
- Design, test, and refine prompts to optimize the performance and output quality of Large Language Models (LLMs) like GPT-4 and Claude.
- Conduct rigorous A/B testing to compare prompt variations and select the most effective strategies.
- Collaborate with software engineers and product managers to integrate prompt-based features into web and mobile applications.
- Document prompt engineering methodologies and maintain a comprehensive library of high-performing prompt templates.
- Analyze model outputs for accuracy, bias, and safety, making iterative improvements to user interactions.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in NLP and prompt engineering best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in prompt engineering, AI interaction design, or a related field.
- Exceptional command of the English language with a strong background in creative and technical writing.
- Familiarity with Python or other scripting languages for API interaction with AI services (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.).
- Understanding of machine learning concepts, neural networks, and natural language processing (NLP).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and iterate on complex problems.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment.
