We're seeking a creative technologist to design, refine, and optimize AI interactions for our cutting-edge conversational platforms. This flexible role (20-25 hrs/week) offers the opportunity to shape how humans engage with AI systems while working with industry-leading language models.

You'll collaborate with data scientists and product teams to craft prompts that deliver precise, ethical, and engaging responses. This position offers hybrid work arrangements with 2-3 days weekly on-site at our Lincoln Innovation Hub.
Responsibilities
- Design, test, and iterate AI prompts across multiple domains (customer service, content creation, technical support)
- Analyze AI response patterns to identify optimization opportunities
- Develop prompt libraries and documentation for engineering teams
- Conduct A/B testing to evaluate prompt effectiveness
- Collaborate with UX designers to align prompts with user journeys
- Monitor emerging AI capabilities to integrate new prompt techniques
- Ensure all prompts adhere to ethical AI guidelines and brand voice
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, or related field
- 2+ years experience with LLM platforms (GPT, Claude, etc.)
- Portfolio demonstrating prompt engineering projects
- Proficiency in Python and prompt engineering frameworks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written communication and storytelling skills
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Understanding of bias mitigation in AI systems
