Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and refine AI prompts for diverse applications including content generation, customer chatbots, and data analysis
- Conduct A/B testing and performance analysis of prompt variations to optimize output quality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into prompt engineering strategies
- Document prompt methodologies, best practices, and performance benchmarks
- Stay current with emerging AI techniques and contribute to innovation roadmap
- Train and mentor junior team members on prompt engineering principles
- Monitor AI output quality and implement iterative improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, Cognitive Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of hands-on prompt engineering or AI interaction experience
- Expertise in natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning fundamentals
- Proficiency with Python and prompt engineering frameworks (e.g., LangChain, Hugging Face)
- Exceptional written communication with ability to craft precise, nuanced instructions
- Strong analytical skills for evaluating AI outputs and identifying improvement areas
- Experience with generative AI models (GPT, Claude, LLaMA)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful prompt engineering projects
