Responsibilities
- Design and refine AI prompts for diverse applications (chatbots, content generation, research tools)
- Conduct prompt testing and performance analysis using industry-standard frameworks
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into effective prompt strategies
- Document prompt libraries and create reusable templates for consistent outputs
- Stay current with NLP advancements and emerging prompt engineering techniques
- Optimize prompts for accuracy, bias mitigation, and ethical AI practices
- Present findings and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of prompt engineering or NLP experience
- Proficiency with AI platforms (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) and prompt optimization tools
- Strong analytical skills with ability to troubleshoot complex AI outputs
- Excellent written communication and creative problem-solving abilities
- Experience with prompt frameworks (e.g., Chain-of-Thought, ReAct)
- Portfolio demonstrating prompt engineering projects or case studies
