Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using diagnostic tools and proactively address security vulnerabilities
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support to resolve complex network issues for enterprise clients
- Document network configurations, create SOPs, and maintain accurate asset inventories
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement network upgrades and infrastructure projects
- Conduct regular network audits to ensure compliance with industry standards
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper network infrastructure
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and VLAN configurations
- CompTIA Network+ or CCNA certification required
- Strong diagnostic skills with network analyzers and packet capture tools
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service abilities
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
