Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls)
- Monitor network performance and implement security protocols
- Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues across LAN/WAN infrastructures
- Document network configurations and maintenance procedures
- Provide Tier 2 technical support for clients and internal teams
- Collaborate with senior engineers on infrastructure upgrades
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (NIST, ISO)
Qualifications
- CompTIA Network+ or equivalent certification (CCNA preferred)
- 2+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- Proficiency in Cisco/Juniper hardware and Windows Server environments
- Strong diagnostic skills with network analyzers (Wireshark, SolarWinds)
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid Tennessee driver's license for occasional client site visits
