Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Diagnose and resolve network outages using diagnostic tools and protocols
- Implement security measures to protect network infrastructure and data
- Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures
- Collaborate with IT team to support system upgrades and migrations
- Monitor network performance and optimize for efficiency
- Provide technical support to end-users via remote and on-site assistance
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Network Administration, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of hands-on network support experience
- CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA certification required
- Proficiency with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Strong troubleshooting skills with network monitoring tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds)
- Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Valid driver's license for occasional on-site visits
