Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance and proactively address connectivity issues
- Implement and troubleshoot VPN, Wi-Fi, and security protocols
- Document network configurations and create technical documentation
- Collaborate with IT team on infrastructure upgrades and projects
- Provide remote and on-site technical support to clients
- Conduct network vulnerability assessments and security audits
- Train end-users on network best practices and security protocols
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA certification preferred
- Proficiency with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark)
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs
- Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory
- Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
