Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using diagnostic tools and implement optimization strategies
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for network-related issues and outages
- Document network configurations, changes, and maintenance activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security protocols and compliance measures
- Assist in network upgrades, migrations, and capacity planning initiatives
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT, Network Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper network equipment
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG)
- Strong troubleshooting skills for wired/wireless networks and VPNs
- Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory administration
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
