Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN systems including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Cisco Prime
- Resolve hardware/software issues with 4-hour SLA compliance
- Document network changes using Visio and ServiceNow
- Implement security protocols (NAC, VPN, IDS/IPS) to protect infrastructure
- Collaborate with cloud teams on hybrid network integrations
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for 200+ endpoints across 15+ sites
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency in Cisco (IOS/NX-OS) and Juniper (JUNOS) platforms
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS/Azure) and SD-WAN
- Ability to lift 30lbs and work in elevated server racks
- Valid Texas driver’s license for occasional site visits
