Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Wireshark
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues and implement solutions within SLA
- Document network changes, configurations, and security protocols
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for end-user network-related incidents
- Collaborate with cybersecurity team on vulnerability assessments
- Assist in network capacity planning and infrastructure upgrades
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency with Cisco, Juniper, and Fortinet equipment
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN protocols
- Experience with network monitoring tools and ticketing systems
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently during flexible hours
