Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop computers, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Log and manage IT service tickets accurately in our helpdesk system.
- Perform routine system updates, patch management, and security scans.
- Assist in inventory management and the procurement of IT assets.
- Document technical procedures and create knowledge base articles for the team.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of PC hardware components, operating systems (Windows 10/11, macOS), and network connectivity.
- Familiarity with remote support tools (e.g., TeamViewer, LogMeIn) is a plus.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
- Must be available to work a part-time schedule, typically 20-25 hours per week.
- Willingness to obtain CompTIA A+ certification within the first 6 months of employment.
