Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, scrub, and preprocess large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliability for analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform descriptive and inferential statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within the data.
- Dashboard Creation: Design and maintain interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau or PowerBI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- Report Generation: Write comprehensive reports and executive summaries based on data findings, translating complex metrics into business-friendly language.
- SQL & Database Management: Write complex SQL queries to extract data and manage database schemas as needed.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Finance, Operations) to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. (Candidates with equivalent experience will be considered).
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in data analysis or a related role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (strongly required), Python or R, and Excel (advanced).
- Visualization: Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy when handling large datasets and complex calculations.
