Role Overview
As a Part-Time Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in our analytics team, supporting various projects that require deep data analysis, visualization, and reporting. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver clear, concise findings that drive business growth.
Responsibilities
- Perform data cleaning, transformation, and validation to ensure high data quality.
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or Power BI.
- Conduct statistical analysis and modeling to identify trends, correlations, and opportunities.
- Prepare and present detailed reports and executive summaries to non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot issues to maintain system reliability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Proven experience (2+ years) in data analysis, preferably in a remote or freelance setting.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or R is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with cloud data warehouses (AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to a broad audience.
