Responsibilities
- Data Acquisition & Cleaning: Gather and preprocess data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency before analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Apply statistical methods and modeling techniques to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Dashboard Creation: Design and maintain interactive dashboards in Tableau or Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Report Generation: Create comprehensive reports and executive summaries for stakeholders, translating technical findings into business value.
- Database Querying: Utilize SQL to extract data and support ad-hoc analytical requests.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline data workflows and improve reporting efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a part-time or consulting capacity.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong command of SQL; experience with Python or R is highly desirable.
- Visualization Tools: Proven experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical audiences.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and a critical eye for detail in data interpretation.
