Responsibilities
- Collect and Clean Data: Gather, integrate, and prepare large datasets from various sources, ensuring high data quality and integrity.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform complex statistical analysis and modeling to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within the data.
- Report Generation: Create comprehensive, visual reports and dashboards using BI tools to communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Database Management: Write and optimize SQL queries to extract specific data sets for ad-hoc analysis and recurring reports.
- Collaborative Problem Solving: Partner with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, operations) to understand their data needs and provide actionable recommendations.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in current data workflows and suggest improvements to enhance reporting accuracy and speed.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Proven experience in data analysis, with at least 1-2 years of professional experience (internships considered).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Excel (Advanced/Power Query), and at least one BI tool (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
- Programming: Basic to intermediate knowledge of Python or R is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear business insights.
- Availability: Must be able to commit to a part-time schedule (e.g., 20-25 hours per week) with flexibility for occasional meetings.
