Responsibilities
- Extract and Clean Data: Gather raw data from various sources (SQL databases, APIs, spreadsheets) and perform rigorous cleaning and preprocessing to ensure accuracy.
- Visualize Insights: Create interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau or Power BI to present findings to stakeholders clearly and effectively.
- Statistical Analysis: Conduct advanced statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within the data to support business initiatives.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Operations) to understand their data needs and deliver actionable insights.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of data pipelines, analysis methodologies, and reporting standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a part-time or contract capacity.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for querying databases and experience with Python or R for data manipulation.
- Visualization Tools: Strong hands-on experience with Tableau or Power BI.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to translate complex data into business recommendations.
