Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform quantitative analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and correlations within the data.
- Reporting & Visualization: Develop clear, intuitive dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau or PowerBI to present insights to management.
- Database Management: Assist in maintaining and querying databases using SQL to support business intelligence initiatives.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with department heads to understand their data needs and provide actionable recommendations.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve data workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for database querying and experience with at least one visualization tool (Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker).
- Programming: Basic knowledge of Python or R for data manipulation is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
