Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate data from various internal and external sources to ensure high data quality.
- Perform complex data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that inform business strategies.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Tableau or PowerBI.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide technical solutions.
- Create detailed reports and summaries for stakeholders, translating technical findings into clear business insights.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of SQL databases and data warehouses.
- Stay current with industry best practices and emerging data analysis tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience (1-3 years) in data analysis, preferably in a part-time or contract capacity.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating databases.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
