Responsibilities
- Data Management & Cleaning: Collect, clean, and validate large datasets to ensure high-quality data for analysis.
- Reporting & Dashboards: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform advanced statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in financial and operational data.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation of data processes, methodologies, and reporting standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (Finance, Operations, Marketing) to understand their data needs and provide strategic recommendations.
- SQL & Database Querying: Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract data from various databases efficiently.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (equivalent experience accepted).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R. Experience with BI tools like Tableau or Power BI is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the financial services or options trading sector.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Tools: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) is required.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy when handling sensitive financial data.
