Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and SIEM dashboards 24/7 to detect and respond to potential threats in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on internal and external systems.
- Manage and respond to security incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Enforce security policies and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, ISO 27001).
- Perform log analysis to identify suspicious activities and recommend remediation strategies.
- Collaborate with IT teams to patch vulnerabilities and secure network architecture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related role.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP) and operating systems (Windows, Linux).
- Experience with security tools such as SIEM (Splunk, SIEM), IDS/IPS, and firewalls.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
