Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events in real-time using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct daily vulnerability scans and perform penetration testing on internal networks.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents and potential breaches.
- Enforce security policies and ensure compliance with HIPAA and GDPR regulations.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to patch critical vulnerabilities and improve system resilience.
- Generate and maintain detailed incident reports and security documentation.
Qualifications
- Current Security+ or CISSP certification is preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in network security, SOC analysis, or IT operations.
- Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP, firewalls, and VPN technologies.
- Experience with Linux and Windows server environments.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex security issues.
- Ability to work part-time hours (approx. 20-25 hours/week) with a flexible schedule.
