Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents in real-time using SIEM tools.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on internal networks.
- Manage and configure firewalls, antivirus, and endpoint protection systems.
- Enforce data security policies and ensure compliance with NIST and HIPAA standards.
- Perform log analysis and forensic investigations to identify suspicious activity.
- Document security incidents and maintain detailed incident reports.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in cybersecurity, network administration, or information security.
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GSEC certification is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, and common network protocols.
- Experience with security tools such as Splunk, Wireshark, or SIEM platforms.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
